The recipient follows a secure link or QR code, downloads the supported Shaka Rewards experience, and creates an account.
Spend and earn
The gift balance is added to their digital Shaka Card. Qualifying purchases made with that balance earn Shakas and membership rewards.
Gift-card purchases do not earn Shakas. The recipient earns Shakas when the gift balance is spent on qualifying items.

Fast, hassle-free reimbursements
We’ve all been there—you put your money in and… nothing. We understand how frustrating it can be, especially when getting reimbursed becomes another pain and hassle. Not at Snack Attack Hawaiʻi.
Once a failed purchase is verified, participating Shaka Rewards members can have reimbursement credit added directly to their digital Shaka Card—often within minutes instead of waiting days or weeks. It’s one of the little things that matters to us and is too often overlooked by other vending companies.
Everyone deserves a clean, well-stocked, dependable machine every time they choose Snack Attack Hawaiʻi.Refunds are handled quickly, conveniently, and directly between our valued customer and Snack Attack Hawaiʻi Customer Service—without the involvement of property management, security, other on-site staff, or anyone else. For Shaka Rewards members, approved refunds can be issued directly to the member’s digital Shaka Card for immediate use at participating machines.
Most verified requests are handled within 24–48 hours. Once approved and added to a member’s digital Shaka Card, the refund value is available for immediate use at participating machines. Timing may vary by payment method.
